Clearstream To Offer Services In Brazil

Deutsche Börse-owned post-trade group, Clearstream, has started providing settlement and custodial services for Brazilian securities.

Deutsche Börse-owned post-trade group, Clearstream, has started providing settlement and custodial services for Brazilian securities, Financial News reports. The move will allow the Luxembourg-based group’s clients to settle all asset classes in the Brazilian Real.

The company’s sub-custodian in the country will be Itaú Unibanco. Clearstream included the Brazilian market into its cross-border international central securities depository network on January 21.
