Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) has hired James Owens as a senior advisor and a member of its portfolio management committee. Owens will join KKR from Caterpillar, where he was Chairman and CEO. Owens also serves on the boards of directors of Alcoa, IBM and Morgan Stanley. KKR’s senior advisors are part of the private equity firm’s integrated model of value creation.
