Brown Advisory Adds Share Class To Fund

Brown Advisory has added a hedged share class to its existing American fund.

Brown Advisory has added a hedged share class to its existing American fund, Investment Week reports. The addition of the sterling share class will remove the potential currency risk for the U.K. investors of the investment firm. Dart Capital has funded the new share class with around £3 million.

The U.S. funds portfolio combines the U.S. Equity Value, the U.S. Equity Growth and the U.S. Smaller Companies strategies. The portfolio, launched in 2008, will be sub-advised by the management teams of the firm’s three existing U.S. funds.
