Portugal has raised about €750 million in a 12-month Treasury bill sale.

Portugal has raised about €750 million in a 12-month Treasury bill sale, The Wall Street Journal reports. The yields decreased to 4.029% from 5.281% at the previous auction for the same maturity on Dec. 1, 2010. Investors demanded 3.1 times the amount of bills offered. Previously, Portugal had auctioned €599 million of 10-year bonds on Jan. 12, 2011, adds Bloomberg. Portugal requires about €21 billion in financing in 2011.
