The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has selected Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI) to provide transition management services. Northern Trust’s asset management arm will also manage an £80 million index portfolio for six months.
Northern Trust already provides custody services for about £450 million of the scheme’s assets. Northern Trust currently offers asset servicing and asset management solutions to over 1, 000 pension funds globally, including 33% of all U.K. local government pension schemes.
