Inter RAO will acquire a 49% stake in gas producer Nortgaz, Reuters reports, citing Vedomosti. The Russian state-controlled power trader will pay $1.5 billion for the acquisition.
Inter RAO will acquire the stake from the U.K. holding company, Redi. The remaining 51% stake in Nortgaz will be held Russian state-owned energy company, Gazprom.
