Grifols USA has raised a total of $1.1 billion in a sale of senior notes.

Grifols USA has raised a total of $1.1 billion in a sale of senior notes, Reuters reports. The bonds of the Los Angeles-based pharmaceutical company were sold in the 144a private placement market. The notes, which carry a coupon rate of 8.25%, will mature on Feb. 1, 2018. The joint book-running managers for the sale were Deutsche Bank, Nomura, BBVA Securities, BNP Paribas, HSBC and Morgan Stanley.
