UBS Offers Electronic Credit Swaps

UBS has started providing clients with electronic trading of credit-default swaps for European sovereign debt and indexes of corporations.

UBS has started providing clients with electronic trading of credit-default swaps for European sovereign debt and indexes of corporations, Bloomberg reports. The Zürich-based bank will offer electronic trading in single-name credit-default swaps for countries in Western Europe.

UBS will also provide credit default swaps in the Markit CDX North America indices, the Markit iTraxx Europe Index, the Markit iTraxx SovX Western Europe index and the Markit iTraxx SovX CEEMEA Index. UBS customers will be able to trade the credit swaps through Bloomberg terminals.
