Credit default swap spreads on European bonds tightened 10 basis points, the first decline in a week, to 199 bps, according to JPMorgan Chase, reports Bloomberg.

Credit default swap spreads on European bonds tightened 10 basis points, the first decline in a week, to 199 bps, according to JPMorgan Chase. The Markit iTraxx Financial Index at 209 bps last week was at its highest level since March 2009, when it hit a record 210 bps.
