Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Tito Vidaurri as the bank’s country executive for its Mexican operations.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Tito Vidaurri as the bank’s country executive for its Mexican operations, The Wall Street Journal reports. Vidaurri, who will join BofA in April, will work under Andrea Orcel, executive chairman of global banking and markets.

He will also join the emerging markets (ex-Asia) executive committee, of which Orcel is president. At present, Vidaurri is chief country officer, chairman of the board and CEO at Deutsche Bank’s Mexican commercial banking and brokerage businesses.
