Platinum Equity has appointed Robert Klap as a principal based in London. In his new role, he will assist the firm’s investor relations, capital raising and deal origination programs. Previously, he was an executive director, private equity fund investment analyst-wealth management at UBS in London. Before that, he served as private equity portfolio manager at Shell Asset Management and a fund manager at Mn Services, each of which are institutional investors in Platinum’s private equity funds.
