The dealer arm of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has enhanced its institutional sales team with three hires, The Wall Street Journal reports. CIBC has appointed Tim Brown and Brent Rector as salesmen, who will be based in New York as a part of their new role.
The duo joins CIBC from RBC Capital Markets, the investment-banking unit of Royal Bank of Canada. The Canadian chartered bank has also appointed U.K.-based institutional salesman, Greg Harris, who was previously working with Scotia Capital.
