The former co-founder of hedge-fund firm, Galleon Group, has launched a new investment firm, Rockledge Capital Management, The Wall Street Journal reports. Gary Rosenbach and James Burritt, managing director of Thomas H Lee Capital, have jointly set up the company.
Burritt previously managed the Blue Star and Lee Enhanced Offshore hedge fund of funds portfolios for Thomas H Lee Capital. Galleon Group had closed its hedge funds in 2009, after its co-founder, Raj Rajaratnam, was charged with insider trading.
