Brompton Asset Management has appointed Gillian Lakin as head of private clients, Citywire reports. Simon Akroyd, who was heading Brompton’s private client operation, has stepped down from his role. Lakin joined Brompton as CIO last year. Formerly, he has served as head of Thornhill’s investment team before its acquisition by Cazenove. In addition, Brompton has promoted Luke Hyde-Smith from analyst to private client fund manager.
