Credit Suisse Group has appointed Francois Essertel as head of private banking in France, The Wall Street Journal reports. He has succeeded Herve de Montlivault, who moves to a consulting role for wealthy French clients.

In a newly created role, de Montlivault will now serve as head of sales and advisory to private French clients. Essertel, who will manage the bank’s multi-shore approach, joined Credit Suisse in 2008. Click here for the story from The Wall Street Journal.
