CEZ has sold its 9.15% stake in Romanian nuclear power plant, Cernavoda.

CEZ has sold its 9.15% stake in Romanian nuclear power plant, Cernavoda, Reuters reports. The Czech energy company sold the stake to the majority shareholder Romanian state-run, Nuclearelectrica.

Nuclearelectrica holds more than 51% shares in EnergoNuclear, adds PennEnergy. Other shareholders in EnergoNuclear include Enel, RWE and GDF Suez, each holding 9.15% in the joint venture. ArcelorMittal Romania and Iberdrola own 6.2% of the shares.
