OCC Appoints Compliance Chief

The Options Clearing Corporation has appointed Jean Cawley to the newly formed post of chief compliance officer.

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) has appointed Jean Cawley to the newly formed post of chief compliance officer. Cawley will retain her role as senior vice president and deputy general counsel.

She will work under Wayne Luthringshausen, Chairman and CEO, and will develop and manage OCC’s compliance program. Cawley joined OCC in November 1989 as staff counsel. Formerly, she served in the Midwest regional office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as chief in the Branch of Enforcement.
