In 2008, Chicago-based Citadel Investment Group hired Anita Nassar from Merrill Lynch in London, where she was managing director and co-head of government institutions sales. Now she’s a Citadel managing director and co-head of international marketing and distribution for asset management, serving the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific region. Nassar, 47, is known for her fundraising capabilities and her connections — especially in the Middle East, rich in sovereign wealth and high-net-worth money.
