Direxion will start trading a new ETF on Dec. 8 2010, ETF Daily News reports. The Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bear 2X Shares ETF will seek daily leveraged investment results.
The fund tracks a modified market capitalization weighted index, which consists of publicly traded companies operating globally in developed and emerging markets, and involved mainly in the mining for gold and silver.
