New Mexico Investment Officer To Quit

Interim investment officer, Bob Jacksha, may leave in March or April 2010.

New Mexico State Investment Council’s interim state investment officer, Bob Jacksha, may leave in March or April 2010, Pensions & Investments reports. He will join the $6.5 billion New Mexico Educational Retirement Board as CIO.

In October 2009, Jacksha was appointed to replace Gary Bland, who resigned. The council had formed a search committee for a permanent replacement, who would have been appointed by Governor, Bill Richardson, in 2009.
