Morgan Stanley is planning to expand its underperforming securities business by adding more traders.

Morgan Stanley is planning to expand its underperforming securities business by adding more traders, Financial Times reports. The U.S. investment bank’ sales and trading unit had failed to reach many of the investors and companies who were interested in doing business with the bank.

The bank, in 2009, had appointed 350 people to its securities business. It could recruit several hundred traders over the next three years or so.
