Bank of America Names Capital Markets Chairman, Co-Heads

Bank of America has appointed Alastair Borthwick and Lisa Carnoy to its global capital markets unit.

Bank of America has appointed Alastair Borthwick and Lisa Carnoy to its global capital markets unit, Financial Times reports. The duo succeeds Bruce Thompson and will serve as co-heads of its global capital markets business. Borthwick and Carnoy will be based in New York and will work under Tom Montag, the president of global banking and markets.

Prior to this, Borthwick was the head of global investment-grade capital markets and Carnoy oversaw global equity and equity-linked capital markets at the bank. The North Carolina-based bank has also hired Rupert Hume-Kendall as Chairman of global capital markets.
