Hudson Raises $1 Billion For Green Fund

The fund will invest in the wind, solar, biomass, energy efficiency and energy storage sector.

Private equity firm, Hudson Clean Energy Partners, has raised around $1 billion for its first fund, Reuters reports. The fund will invest in the wind, solar, biomass, energy efficiency and energy storage sector.

The vehicle’s investors include public and private pension funds as well as financial institutions. The lead placement agent for the fund, CP Eaton Partners, was assisted by Credit Suisse Securities (USA) and Poalim Ventures, adds PR Newswire.
