Institutional Investor Editor Wins Award

State Street names Loch Adamson Journalist of the Year—Investment Issues.

Loch Adamson, Institutional Investor’s London Bureau Chief, was named “Journalist of the Year—Investment Issues (Trade)” at the 2008 State Street Institutional Press Awards in London on November 5th. Adamson was chosen for her outstanding performance in institutional financial reporting for the following articles in the magazine: Minding the Data (October 2007) and Being Kieran Prior (May 2008).

Since 2002, State Street Corporation, a leading provider of financial services to institutional investors, has issued its annual State Street Institutional Press Awards to recognize the contribution of journalists across a wide range of categories including investments, pensions and investor services and technology.

This year’s entries were judged by an independent panel of industry professionals including Mark Wood, Chief Executive of Paternoster; Malcolm McLean, Chief Executive of the Pensions Advisory Service; Ben Gunnee, European Director of the Mercer Sentinel Group; John Ralfe, an independent pension consultant; and Steve Delo, President of the Pensions Management Institute.
