The brokerage company Cyrrus introduced the first investment certificates worth US$1.28 million (CZK28.2 million) for the Prague Stock Exchange index PX through Raiffeisen Centrobank, CIA reported. The whole issue was subscribed through a private issue from May 22 to May 26. The issue volume can be raised at any time. Trades with the certificate PX Cyrrus are carried out by the EUWAX stock exchange in Stuttgart. Cyrrus chairman Martin Kozumplik said that the company wanted to issue a certificate in Czech koruna on the PSE, but at present the Czech laws did not make it possible. The maturity period of the certificate is unlimited. Customers of the brokerage company can buy the certificate PX Cyrrus at prices in euros and at present the value of one certificate reaches €5.06 (US$7.20).
