Banc of America Securities,Goldman Sachs,Charles River Development,ITG Solutions Network, Morgan Stanley andEze Castle Software are finalists in the trade order management division of Alpha magazine’s awards for top hedge fund technology providers. The magazine, a sister publication to Wall Street Letter, also announced finalists in three other tech categories--portfolio management and accounting, risk management and investor relations management.
The awards are based on an extensive survey begun early this spring that asked hedge fund managers to rate the quality of service they received during the previous 12 months. More than 1,000 hedge funds participated in the survey, including two-thirds of the 2006 Hedge Fund 100, Alpha‘s exclusive annual ranking of the world’s biggest single-manager hedge funds (WSL, 6/23). The winners will be announced Sept. 12 and results published in the September issue of the magazine.
