BEIJING, October 25 (CEIS) China Securities Regulatory Commission Chairman Shang Fulin said on October 24 that China will launch stock index futures trading at the beginning of 2007.
Industry insiders hold that the move will encourage long-term investment of institutional investors as it will enable the investors also to make profit when share prices fall.
