PGGM chief executive Else Bos has resigned after 15 years with the Dutch pension manager.

Bos is leaving to take on a new position at an undisclosed firm, with her resignation effective Nov. 1, PGGM announced Wednesday. The firm said the supervisory board would soon begin the process of finding a successor.

The announcement of Bos’s departure comes just weeks after APG, the Netherland’s other giant pension manager, lost its CEO Eduard van Gelderen to the University of California.

“With conviction and vision, Else Bos has made an important contribution to the development of PGGM over the past few years,” said Edwin Velzel, chairman of the PGGM supervisory board, in a statement. “We are very grateful for everything Else has accomplished for PGGM and we wish her success in her future career.”

Bos was appointed CEO in 2013 after more than a decade in various executive roles at the €205 billion ($230 billion) pension manager. She first joined PGGM in 2002 as chief operating officer for PGGM’s investments group. In 2004, she had joined executive board as CEO of investments. Later, she served as the pension manager’s chief of institutional business and deputy CEO.

Bos said she “very much enjoyed” working at PGGM and was proud of their achievements during her time there. Prior to joining PGGM, Bos served in senior roles at NIB Capital Asset Management. She joined the asset manager in 2001 after a decade working in various positions at the ABN Amro Bank.
