It all started with some levity, with U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara joking at the start of his Delivering Alpha address that he had subpoenas for everyone in the room.
But he got down to business after interviewer Jim Cramer of CNBC pointed out that insider trading is “more systemic than we ever thought.”
Bharara, who is known as the Sheriff of Wall Street, talked about the arrogance he had seen over the course of the 71 cases his office has taken and about his belief that insider trading is rampant.
