Bank of America Merrill Lynch was the Top Global Research Firm of 2011, having captured more positions across all Institutional Investor research-team surveys than any other firm. But so far this year, Deutsche Bank is out in front.
The table below shows the aggregated results of the two surveys published thus far in 2012: All-Europe Research Teamand the All-Europe Fixed-Income Research Team. Deutsche Bank wins a whopping 53 total team positions (first, second, third place and runners-up) across the two surveys, well ahead of second-place J.P. Morgan's 38.
We will update this table on April 3, when the results of the 2012 All-Japan Research Team are released, and then throughout the year as the winners of each survey are announced.
