Analyst Debut: 2010“No one comes close to Greg in terms of consistently making outstanding stock calls,” cheers one fan of Citi’s Gregory Badishkanian, who wins the No. 1 position on this lineup for a fourth consecutive year. One favorite name among the 33 the analyst monitors is toymaker Hasbro. When his channel checks indicated that a number of the Pawtucket, Rhode Island–based company’s new products would accelerate sales growth, Badishkanian, 45, upgraded the shares from sell all the way to buy. That was in August 2013, and by mid-September of this year, they had leaped 20.2 percent, to $53.54, outperforming the sector by 9.2 percentage points. Another preferred stock is Miami’s Royal Caribbean Cruises, which Badishkanian has for several years urged clients to buy, crediting improvements in Caribbean bookings and pricing trends as well as strong European demand. Over the 12 months through mid-September, the cruise line operator soared 73.2 percent, to $66.43, while the sector gained just 6.7 percent. He forecasts that Royal Caribbean will rise to $73. “Greg makes the effort to connect investors with knowledgeable industry experts,” attests another supporter, “which gives us a better-informed product.”
