The BTG Pactual quartet under Gordon Lee, 40, and Marcello Milman, 32, debuted in first place last year, when this sector was introduced, and takes the top spot again this year. Lee, who works out of New York, and São Paulo–based Milman also pilot the No. 1 team in Cement & Construction. The analysts report on 12 companies, twice as many as last year. In September they launched coverage on Mexico’s Fibra Uno Administracion with a buy rating, at 29.64 pesos, citing the Mexico-based real estate investment trust’s solid operating results, among other considerations. Through mid-July the stock had bolted 41.7 percent, to 41.99 pesos, and bested the sector by 60.2 percentage points. The researchers continue to recommend it.
