Top Institutional Investor Nominees Announced for Hedge Fund Industry Awards

IBM, New York Common Fund, University of Notre Dame and Aksia’s Jim Vos are among the nominees for the top institutional investor and consultant categories in the 8th Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards.

Institutional Investor magazine announces the nominees for the top institutional investor and consultant categories in the 8th Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards. IBM Corp., New York Common Fund, the University of Notre Dame and Aksia’s Jim Vos are among the list of nominees, which along with the previously announced nominees in the hedge fund and fund of hedge funds categories will be honored at a dinner and awards ceremony on Monday, June 21, 2010, at the Mandarin Oriental in New York. The dinner, at which the winners will be announced in all 18 categories, is held in conjunction with Institutional Investor Conferences’ Hedge Fund Investor Symposium, June 22-23, 2010, in New York. At the Hedge Fund Industry Awards dinner Julian Robertson Jr., founder and chairman of Tiger Management Corp., will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Orin Kramer, chairman of the New Jersey State Investment Council, will be honored for his outstanding contribution to the hedge fund industry.
