The two-analyst J.P. Morgan team led by Andrea Teixeira repeats in second place.

Robert Ford & team  BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research

Rising from runner-up to third place is the four-member BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research team directed by Robert Ford in New York. Supporters say Ford, who also leads the No. 3 team in Food & Beverages, is “one of the most responsive analysts on Wall Street” and brings “a sense of stability to the analytical process.” In July 2009 the researchers upgraded Wal-Mart de México from neutral to buy, at a split- and dividend-adjusted 20.12 Mexican pesos, based on margin expansion and strong sales growth. The stock had shot up 48.4 percent, to 29.85 pesos, by the end of July 2010.
