Soleil Securities Group, a New York-based indie, last week hired analyst Jim Higgins to cover airlines. Higgins, most recently an analyst at Credit Suisse, will be the firm’s first researcher to cover the sector. He will launch coverage of about 15 airlines by year-end, a spokesman said. Credit Suisse declined to comment.
