Telephone & Data Systems has raised $300 million in a sale of senior unsecured notes, Reuters reports. The telecom services provider had initially planned to raise $100 million.

The company appointed Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, UBS and Wells Fargo Securities as the joint bookrunning managers for the deal. The notes carry a coupon rate of 7.00% and are due to mature on March 15, 2060.
