Northern Trust has received approval to expand its asset management business for institutional investors in Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg) from its Amsterdam office. The asset manager has appointed Gerard van Leusden and Arnaud Bizet as senior business development directors.

The duo will work with Liisa Salojarvi and will be in charge for building asset management relationships across the region, with focus on pension funds and asset management groups. Van Leusden and Bizet join from Blackrock in Amsterdam, where they were sales and relationship management directors.
