U.S. news and business information provider Dow Jones & Co. is incorporating 30 economic indicators from South-east Asia to its machine-readable news feed for algorithmic traders Elementized News Feed. Most of the indicators will be introduced by the end of January, while 12 of the total have already been added in October.

The new indicators, which will originate from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines, will be accessible via the Elementized News Feed and Dow Jones Calendar Live, a real-time schedule of corporate and economic events. The Dow Jones Elementized News Feed is an ultra-low-latency feed that offers global economic and corporate data which can be parsed and directly embedded into quantitative analysis models and algorithmic trading programs.
