SOHO China has bought the Shanghai New World Changning Commercial Center for $500 million, Europe Real Estate reports. The building will be renamed SOHO Zhongshan Plaza, after completion of the acquisition.

The Chinese commercial real estate firm was represented by Savills Shanghai on the transaction. The property comprises two towers with office space and retail accommodation.
