U.S. electric utility, Georgia Power, has raised a total of $300 million in a note sale, Reuters reports. The bonds, which carry a floating coupon rate, will mature on Jan. 15, 2013. The securities were priced at a spread to yield 27 basis points over the U.S. Treasuries. The joint book-running managers for the sale were Royal Bank of Scotland and Goldman Sachs.
