Matthews International Capital Management is planning to make its $1.1 billion India strategy available to U.K. retail investors, FundWeb reports. The portfolio is already registered in the country and will be distributed as part of the group’s Luxemburg-domiciled UCITS fund range later this month.

Sharat Shroff is the lead manager of the fund, which is co-managed by Sunil Asnani. Typically, they invest at least 80% of their net assets in equities and convertible securities of Indian-based firms. They also usually hold more than half the portfolio in small and medium-sized companies.
