Vanguard has standardized the minimum investment requirement for investor shares of its funds at $3,000, MutualFundWire reports. Previously, investment requirements varied by fund and ranged from $3,000–25,000. Some of the affected funds include the Vanguard Convertible Securities Fund, the Vanguard Health Care Fund and the Vanguard Energy Fund. Some of the funds are already closed, including the Vanguard Primecap Fund, the Vanguard Primecap Core Fund and the Vanguard Capital Opportunity Fund, adds Barron’s.
