CalPERS is considering reorganizing its alternative investment management program, Pensions & Investments reports. As part of the move, the firm may decrease the number of funds in which it invests. No manager is expected to be terminated.

The $241.3 billion system’s alternative investment management program gets 80% of its returns from 55 funds. It also has investments in around 500 funds in its alternative investment program.
