Managed Funds Association’s (MFA) board of directors has named William Goodell as chairman. He is currently COO at Maverick Capital. The board has named Putnam Coes as vice chairman, Howard Altman as treasurer and Scott Lawin as secretary, to work along with Goodell. The new executive committee includes Goodell, Coes, Darcy Bradbury, Sonia Gardner, Michael Gismondi, David Harding, Lawin and James Rowen. MFA also named five new directors to serve a one-year term on its board, including Rothstein Kass and Peter Gilbert.
