Credit Suisse is expanding its Spanish private banking unit with the appointment of three executives, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Zurich-based lender has hired Mariano Sancho and Rocio Sanchez as client advisors, while Veronica Vega-Penichet will be part of the fund management arm of its private bank in Spain.

The trio is joining the Swiss bank in the newly created positions. Sancho is coming from M&G Valores, Vega-Penichet is joining from UBS and Sanchez is a former Caixa and Morgan Stanley private banker.
