Bats Europe, a Financial Services Authority–authorized multilateral trading facility in Europe, has moved its matching engine and infrastructure to the London LD4 International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre campus of Equinix, a provider of global data center services. IBX is a trademark of Equinix. The move help the facility extend premier one-stop access to liquidity with the highest levels of resilience and the lowest possible latency through continuous technological upgrades and new offerings.

A new Binary Order Entry protocol will be launched from the LD4 campus on November 4 by Bats Europe. Traders will be able to access the full suite of its order types using Binary Order Entry as well as the standard FIX protocol format. Binary Order Entry provides a new optional order entry method for participants to interact with the Bats Europe platform that further reduces latency.
