The private equity division of J.P. Morgan has acquired a former Arch Cru buyout portfolio, Financial Times reports. JPMorgan Private Equity paid $91.9 million for the acquisition.

The purchase price comprises the issuance of 44.7 million standard dollar equity shares, valued at about £36.7 million, as well as 30.4 million new 2017 zero dividend preference shares, valued at £19.8 million. The deal involves a portfolio of 38 mid-market buyout co-investments, now managed by Spearpoint.
