Barclays Capital has begun offering the first in a series of structured funds aimed at the U.K. retail market. Based on the performance of the FTSE 100, the fund offers investors the opportunity for an early return in the third year as long as the FTSE is at or above its initial level, and is capital protected provided the index does not drop below 60% of its initial level.
