Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGas Gets $1B Loan

KazMunaiGas has secured a $1 billion five-year unsecured credit facility.

KazMunaiGas has secured a $1 billion five-year unsecured credit facility, Reuters reports. The Kazakh state oil and gas company will use the funds for general corporate purposes, including repayment of existing debt. The transaction was underwritten and arranged by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, ING Bank, Natixis and RBS. Citibank Kazakhstan, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking and UniCredit Bank Austria were the mandated lead arrangers of the facility.
