Jennifer Mathias has been appointed by Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s private banking division Coutts as its new CFO, Citywire reports. Reporting to Fiona Davis, finance director for retail, wealth and Ulster with the RBS group and to Coutts’ CEO Rory Tapner, Mathias will assume her responsibilities in the first quarter of 2012.
Mathias will join Coutts from London-based Lloyds Banking Group, where she is finance director of the corporate banking division. She has previously held several senior management positions at Lloyds including head of credit risk and compliance for the commercial banking division of Lloyds TSB.
